Jr. Financial AnalystDescription: Provide financial management support in the executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing of projects to ensure the accuracy of financial data and support project and organizational decision making. Research commitment, obligation, and expenditure data from Navy ERP and internal accounting systems. Maintain financial spreadsheets and databases, monitor project authorized amounts and balances, investigate Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs), and process Return of Funds (ROFs). Develop and run recurring and ad hoc financial reports, reconcile financial data on labor, travel, material, and service contract transactions, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with Budget Financial Managers (BFMs) and internal project teams to submit adjustment packages and pursue corrective actions.
Requirements: Active security clearance, bachelor's degree, 1 year of experience in financial management, proficiency in MS Office tools, strong analytical skills Req #21100 |
Sr. Financial AnalystDescription: Lead financial management efforts in the initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing of projects. Review cost estimates and financial spreadsheets, conduct analysis on project burn rates and cost to complete estimates, develop financial management processes and best practices, and assess project and organizational financial health. Develop funds acceptance and execution strategies in order to meet organizational goals.
